Here's a list of blogs I subscribe to. I can't say that I read them all the time. I have a subset that I try to keep up with regularly. I keep the rest on my blogroll as I'm building my attention profile and it's also useful to have a place to search just blogs I've 'pre-approved'.
I kind of consider my RSS like a customized electronic newspaper. And just like a newspaper, you usually never get round to reading everything and it doesn't take long for the information to date. Unlike newspapers though, the information is searchable, you don't end up with a pile of paper to get rid of, and you can usually access archives when you want to.
Using Blogrovr I can also get notified when one of the sites on my Blogroll has said something about the site I am currently visiting
For reading and subscribing I use Google Reader. It's easy to skim through articles and have them marked Read as you read, Star them for further attention later and to share with or without notes. It works just as well on an iPhone or other mobile phones as it does on a PC.
Unfortunately it's not easy to show how I've tagged all the different blogs, but here's a subset of the list below for blogs with some connection to Japan.
